My years spent proofreading academic papers at the University of California at Santa Barbara taught me clarity, accuracy and speed when proofreading, and helped me to develop consistency when meeting deadlines.  Through subsequent job opportunities spanning over a decade, I have worked as a process writer, technical writer and researcher within large corporate and small business environments.
